I should have known I would end up in this profession. As a child I enjoyed organizing and styling my room, placing stuffed animals, books and trinkets just so on my shelves for hours instead of playing with Barbies like a normal child. Instead, I took the long road, doing a combination of bartending, hair styling, producing, wedding videography, and even being a fitness instructor. At the urging of close friends, I applied for and landed a job with blogger and stylist Emily Henderson as an assistant stylist in 2016. I’ve honed my skills at EHD for the past 3 years working my way up to Lead Stylist and Creative Producer (and even occasional blog contributor). On top of the amazing and varied opportunities I’ve had with EHD, I’ve also designed and renovated my first home.
Styling has been like coming home. Everything about the process, from soup to nuts, I enjoy. Ideating, sourcing and problem solving is just as fun to me as the finished product. Production, it’s long hours, blood, sweat and tears, is where I do best and where I’ve met some of my favorite people. If you’d like to collaborate please reach out!
